Monica Goodling is delivering her congressional testimony today, and I can’t wait to see what comes out of it, though the initial report seem to indicate that she is shifting blame to Deputy Attorney General Paul McNulty.

Rampant executive branch cronyism is just too blatant to be ignored by Congress anymore. Goodling, a recent graduate of Pat Robertson’s Regent University, landed the job as Director of Public Affairs for the Justice Department despite a limited resume that included only six months of prosecutorial experience. Her Alma Mater, ranked as a tier 4 law school by US News and World Report (lowest ranking possible), has had over 150 of its graduates hired by the Bush administration to federal posts since 2001.
