I’m gleeful over the news that Attorney General Gonzales’ former aide Monica Goodling is being compelled to testify in front of Congress about the firings of US Attorneys, as reported by Bloomberg here. May she tell the truth.
In other exciting congressional action, the director of Iraq for Sale gave testimony yesterday before the Defense Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee on Defense Department outsourcing. Unfortunately, he was blocked by some members from showing a four minute clip from his movie. Check out this excerpt of the testimony on Greenwald’s blog. Read the transcript of Greenwald’s testimony here.
