If you haven’t seen the Enron documentary The Smartest Guys In The Room, you are missing a first class presentation on one of the biggest corporate swindles ever to take place. The sheer magnitude of fraud orchestrated by Jeff Skilling and abetted by Lay and others boggles the mind.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, you can own a piece of Enron! Up for auction are the custom designed desks used by these modern-day robber barrons. Lay’s desk is already up to $25,000. While I don’t actually know the identity of ‘bidder 1′ I have a strong suspicion that this desk will end up at Haliburton HQ in, say, late 2008.
