The UK Guardian is reporting here that the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a conservative thinktank sponsored in part by ExxonMobil, is offering a $10,000 dollar “honoraria” to scientists if they will agree to critique certain policy implications of the new UN report on climate change. Sounds suspiciously like a bribe.

Leaked by a professor who recieved a letter from the institute, you can read a copy of the solicitation here. Since 1998 AEI has received $1,625,000 in donations from ExxonMobil.
